Stronger Parks Start with Stronger Partnerships

California’s state parks are stronger when the organizations that support them are connected, informed, and working together. The California League of Park Associations (CALPA) brings nonprofit park partners together to share knowledge, learn from one another, address common challenges, and strengthen their collective impact throughout the California State Parks system.

CALPA provides a statewide network where park partners can build relationships with one another and with California State Parks, exchange successful ideas and practices, access education and resources, and bring a stronger collective voice to issues affecting parks and the organizations that support them. This is particularly important because nonprofit partners are independent organizations working alongside State Parks in many different capacities—from interpretation and education to fundraising, visitor services, resource protection, programs, and even park operations.

CALPA membership connects your organization to something larger: a statewide community of park partners committed to learning from one another, strengthening partnerships, and helping California’s parks thrive for generations to come.
